Decoding the Project

Exploring the Purpose and Scope

Following the success of the original Vitafix Gummies campaign, InterMed returned to CGWorks to expand the world of Bob and Ster with a brand new adventure. Rather than creating a completely new direction, we chose to evolve the universe we had already built, introducing a fresh story that naturally extends the characters’ journey while bringing the second product in the Vitafix Gummies range into the spotlight.

At the heart of the concept is a playful interpretation of the Big Bang. Vitamins, probiotics, prebiotics and fruit ingredients collide in a spectacular cosmic explosion, eventually coming together to form the Vitafix Gummies pack itself. This visual metaphor transforms the product’s nutritional ingredients into the story’s central event, creating an engaging way to communicate the product’s benefits through animation.

CGWorks developed the creative concept, script and original lyrics, while deliberately preserving the campaign’s established musical theme. By combining new storytelling with a familiar melody, the sequel strengthens the brand’s recognisable audio identity and reinforces product recall among young audiences.

Unveiling the Creative Journey

Breathing Life into Imagination

With the original character library and environments already established, production focused on expanding rather than rebuilding the Vitafix universe. Existing assets became the foundation for a richer world, allowing the team to introduce new planets, props, visual effects and refined look development while maintaining complete visual consistency with the first campaign.

Every stage of production, from early sketches and storyboards to previs, animation and final compositing, was used to shape the rhythm and energy of the story. This iterative process helped choreograph the large-scale “Big Bang” sequence, ensuring that every explosion, transition and character interaction served both the narrative and the product message.

Building upon an existing production pipeline also gave the team the freedom to invest more time in animation performance, cinematic timing and environmental detail, demonstrating how a well-designed character universe can continue to evolve across multiple campaigns without losing its identity.
